🌟 Support Workers & Senior Support Workers – Kent (Permanent Roles | EBD)

I’m currently working with a well-established provider supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), who are expanding their teams across Kent.

We are recruiting for both Support Workers and Senior Support Workers on a permanent basis — ideal for those looking to build or progress a career in children’s residential care.

💡 The Roles:

Support Worker:
• Provide day-to-day care, structure and emotional support
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Support routines, education and activities
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours

Senior Support Worker:
• Lead shifts and support the wider team
• Oversee behaviour management and care planning
• Support staff development and mentor junior team members
• Ensure safeguarding, compliance and high standards of care

👤 What we’re looking for:
• Experience working with children or young people (EBD preferred)
• Resilient, calm and able to manage challenging behaviours
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
• Previous senior experience (for Senior roles)
• Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (desirable for Senior roles)

💰 What’s on offer:
• £13.50 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
